Overview
TimerApp is an interval training timer for iPhone and Apple Watch. We designed the app to work without an account and without collecting personal information for advertising or tracking.
Information We Store on Your Device
TimerApp may store the following information locally on your device so the app can provide its core features:
- Workout timer settings, such as exercise duration, rest duration, rounds, selected plan, sound, haptics, theme, and language preferences.
- Training plans that you create or save, including plan names, descriptions, categories, interval durations, rounds, favorites, and last-used dates.
- Workout history, such as plan name, category, start and end time, duration, planned and completed rounds, and completion status.
- App entitlement status, such as whether Pro features are unlocked.
This information is used only to run TimerApp features and is stored using Apple platform storage such as SwiftData and UserDefaults.
Apple Watch Sync
If you use TimerApp with Apple Watch, the app may send selected workout plan details and workout session summaries between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's Watch Connectivity framework. This sync is used only to keep the timer experience consistent across your own devices.
Purchases and Subscriptions
TimerApp uses Apple's StoreKit and App Store systems to offer and manage purchases or subscriptions. Purchase processing, payment information, refunds, and subscription management are handled by Apple. TimerApp receives only the information needed to determine whether Pro features should be unlocked.
iCloud or Cloud Sync
If TimerApp enables optional iCloud or CloudKit sync, workout plans and history may be synced through Apple's iCloud services for the Apple ID signed in on your devices. This data is used to keep your TimerApp information available across your own devices. You can manage iCloud settings in the iOS Settings app.
Information We Do Not Collect
TimerApp does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, health records, or advertising identifiers. TimerApp does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
Health and Fitness Data
TimerApp is a fitness timer, but it does not access Apple Health or HealthKit data unless a future version clearly asks for your permission. The current timer and history features are based on information created inside TimerApp.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your TimerApp workout plans or history with advertisers or data brokers. Data may be processed by Apple services when you use App Store purchases, Apple Watch sync, iCloud, device backup, or other operating system features controlled by Apple.
Your Choices
- You can edit or delete workout plans and history inside the app where those features are available.
- You can disable iCloud for the app in iOS Settings if iCloud sync is available and you do not want to use it.
- You can manage subscriptions and purchase history through your Apple ID settings.
- You can delete the app to remove locally stored TimerApp data from your device, subject to any data retained by iCloud backups or Apple services.
Children's Privacy
TimerApp is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the app does not require an account and does not include advertising or tracking SDKs, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when TimerApp changes or when legal, operational, or platform requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
