Terms of Use
By using Beatio you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app. In-app purchases are also subject to Apple's media services terms and the App Store rules of your region.
1. The service
Beatio is a blood pressure and pulse tracking helper. You can enter readings manually, scan a digital blood pressure monitor screen with the camera to capture readings automatically, or measure pulse via the fingertip PPG sensor (camera), then review trends and export PDF reports.
- All data processing happens 100% on-device; data is not uploaded to servers we operate;
- Blood pressure stage classifications and trend analysis are for reference only and cannot replace medical diagnosis;
- You are responsible for your own health decisions and should consult a qualified doctor for medical concerns.
2. Free tier & Beatio PRO
The free tier allows basic blood pressure and pulse logging, history, and basic analysis.
Beatio PRO can be unlocked via in-app purchase, including (as shown in-app):
- Advanced analytics and trend charts;
- Unlimited user profiles;
- PDF report export;
- Unlimited camera blood pressure monitor scanning;
- Fingertip PPG pulse measurement;
- Watermark-free reports.
3. Purchases & auto-renewal
PRO includes:
- Weekly auto-renewable subscription (product ID:
com.bpmate.pro.weekly); - Monthly auto-renewable subscription (product ID:
com.bpmate.pro.monthly); - Yearly auto-renewable subscription (product ID:
com.bpmate.pro.yearly, with 3-day free trial); - Lifetime one-time purchase (product ID:
com.bpmate.pro.lifetime).
Payment is charged to your Apple ID; prices follow the App Store's localized listing. If a product includes a free trial, it will renew at the end of the trial unless you turn off auto-renewal.
Auto-renewal: unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription may renew and be charged within 24 hours prior to the period end (per Apple rules).
Manage & cancel: in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. After turning off auto-renewal, paid entitlement typically remains available until the end of the current period.
Restore: use "Restore Purchases" in the app.
4. Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer cannot directly modify Apple ID billing or force a refund.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the app for unlawful or service-disrupting purposes. Do not reverse-engineer or interfere with the app's normal operation in unauthorized ways (except as compelled by law).
6. Intellectual property
The Beatio name, interface, code, and documentation are protected by applicable law.
7. Medical disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and offers tracking and reference metrics only. It is not a medical device, and its measurements and stage classifications cannot replace professional medical diagnosis. PPG pulse measurement is an estimate and may differ from medical-grade devices. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any health consequences arising from reliance on the app's data. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any health concerns.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use or inability to use the app is limited to the amount you paid Apple for Beatio PRO in the twelve (12) months before the dispute (or zero for free users). Some jurisdictions do not allow such limits; local law then applies.
9. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. We may also discontinue the service or update the app under reasonable circumstances.
10. Governing law
Subject to mandatory consumer protection law, these Terms are governed by the law of the developer's principal place of business. Disputes should first be amicably discussed via 9366321@gmail.com.
