1. License to use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms / App Store Terms of Use.

Any open-source license that may apply to project source code does not replace these Terms for end users who obtain the App from the App Store, and does not grant rights to App Store product identifiers, branding, or paid Premium content beyond what Apple and these Terms allow.

2. What the App does

The App provides Wi‑Fi / local-network remote-control helpers for compatible smart TVs (for example Roku and Samsung; support for other brands may be limited or experimental as described in the App and store listing).

You understand and agree that:

• The App requires permission to access your local network to discover and communicate with devices on the same Wi‑Fi network.
• Successful control depends on your TV model, firmware, settings, network, and manufacturer protocols. We do not guarantee compatibility with every device.
• Some features may require you to approve a connection on the TV (for example Samsung) or complete pairing (for example LG where supported).
• A built-in Simulator device may be provided for demonstration and App Review; it does not control a physical television.

3. Free features and Premium

3.1 Free features

Without a Premium purchase, you may use features designated as free in the App. These are intended to include basic remote keys (for example directional pad, Select, Home, Back, volume, channel, power, mute), local discovery, and connection to one non-simulator TV, subject to technical limitations.

3.2 Premium features

Premium is offered as a one-time Lifetime purchase. It may include touchpad / gesture navigation, casting, one-tap app launching on supported TVs, multi-device use beyond the free device limit, and additional keys (for example Menu), as shown in the App. Exact entitlements are shown on the paywall and may change with notice in an App update.

4. App Store purchases

• Payments are charged to your Apple ID through Apple’s App Store / StoreKit.
• We do not process your credit card directly.
• Prices are displayed by Apple in your local currency where available.
• The Lifetime product is a one-time purchase. It does not renew automatically and has no recurring billing period.
• Restore Purchases is available in the App for previously purchased entitlements on your Apple ID.

Refund requests must be made to Apple under Apple’s refund policies. We cannot override Apple’s payment decisions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to access devices or networks you are not authorized to control.
• Reverse engineer the App for unlawful purposes, or abuse manufacturer services in violation of applicable law.
• Interfere with the App’s operation or security.
• Misrepresent the App’s capabilities in redistributed builds or listings you control.

You are responsible for compliance with local laws and your TV manufacturer’s terms.

6. Privacy

Our collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy.

In summary: device addresses and pairing credentials stay on your device for remote functionality; we do not require an account for core features.

7. Intellectual property

The App’s name, UI, and branding are protected as applicable. Third-party names (for example Netflix, YouTube, Roku, Samsung, LG) are property of their owners and are used only for interoperability or identification. This App is not sponsored or endorsed by those manufacturers or services unless explicitly stated.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL CONTROL ANY PARTICULAR TV, BE UNINTERRUPTED, OR BE ERROR-FREE.

Local network conditions, OS restrictions, and TV firmware changes may reduce or eliminate functionality without notice.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR DEVICE AVAILABILITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP PREMIUM FEATURES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR ZERO IF YOU ONLY USE FREE FEATURES).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted. Mandatory consumer rights in your place of residence remain unaffected.

10. App Store / Apple

You acknowledge that:

• These Terms are between you and us, not Apple.
• Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the App.
• To the extent permitted, Apple has no warranty obligation; any claims relating to the App are between you and us, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms for the purpose of enforcing Apple’s rights under the App Store rules.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change, and the latest version will be published at:

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.

13. Governing law

Except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection law in your place of residence, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
